Arrest following death of man at house in Dublin

Gardai are investigating the the death of a man in his 30s following an incident at a house in Dublin.

Shortly after 1230 on Saturday, emergency services responded to a call at a residence on Brookwood Heights, Artane.

A man was treated at the scene and was subsequently pronounced dead a short time later.

A man in his 60s was arrested at the scene.

The body of the deceased remains at the residence which is preserved for examination.

The local coroner and the Office of the State Pathologist have been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
