Jeep claims the Avenger Electric can travel up to 248 miles between charges and that 100kW DC rapid-charging is compatible, enabling a 20 to 80 per cent top-up to be completed in less than 30 minutes.

Standard equipment across the range includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers and keyless start. The mid-level Altitude adds a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 17-inch wheels and a surround rear view camera, while top-of-the-line Summit models come with adaptive cruise control.
