Lamborghini restores Miura SV to celebrate the model’s 60th anniversary

Lamborghini is celebrating 60 years of its first supercar with a one-off restoration of a Miura SV.
The Miura was launched in 1966 and the ‘SV’ was the ultimate variant. It was limited to just 150 units worldwide and included a wider rear track, uprated steering, suspension and a 3.9-litre V12 engine that puts out 345bhp.

To get the car looking its best, the team at Polo Storico put the car through an extensive reconstruction process, doing research into its history and retrieving the original production sheet to return the car to its exact original specification.

The exterior of the car is finished off in ‘Luci del Bosco’ Brown and is combined with a ‘Senape’ shade for its interior, which Lamborghini says required more historical research to identify the correct specification in relation to the year of production of the car.
Lamborghini has not revealed whether this beautifully restored Miura SV will ever go up for sale, though if it does, it’s expected to be on the market for an eye-watering sum of money.
