As The 2025 Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann draws to a close, there is one performer that has left a lasting impression.

Six-year-old Séamie Séan Ó Braonáin from Creevy National School (Scoil Náisiúnta Mícheál Ó Cléirigh) in Rossnowlagh, County Donegal, became the breakout star of Thursday’s Fleadh25 live broadcast on TG4.

Séamie is no stranger to music and performance being the son of renowned Kíla musician Seanan Brennan and musician/actress Fiona Maria Fitzpatrick.

He has has been immersed in music from birth and singing since he was two years old.

The Cavan-born budding performer with a love for cowboy films and a treasured 37-year-old vintage donkey, dreams of one day becoming an actor.

Last year, he began learning to sing and play the fiddle with Comhaltas Phil Rooney Branch Ballyshannon. His golden moment came on Thursday night when TG4 presenter Aoife Ní Thuairisg spotted him backstage in his suit, waiting to watch his dad perform with Kíla.

She invited him to take the stage  and with that performance - live on TG4 - Séamie Séan won the hearts of the nation and has since gone viral.

Earlier, he had told Aoife that he planned to busk at the Fleadh to save for "a brand new suit".

Already dressed in a very dapper suit and cap, presenter Aoife Ní Thuairisg told the young Donegal native he "was already so well suited and booted".

Dancing with the stars finalist and lip sync guru Kayleigh Trappe wasted no time in impersonating young Séamie in one of her popular Tik Tok Lip syncs which already has one hundred and twenty eight thousand views. Trappe remarked that "no doubt he made enough cash for a few new suits".

Lorg Media, covering the lively Wexford streets for TG4’s social media, captured Séamie Séan in full flow during his busking debut. His blend of musical skill, charm, and cowboy swagger has made him an instant favourite, with audiences already calling for more.

From vintage songs to vintage style, Séamie Séan Ó Braonáin proves that showmanship knows no age limits. With a fiddle in hand, a song in his heart, and ambitions of growing his suit collection at the ripe old age of 6 this Donegal youngster is set to have a bright future ahead of him.
