The Carlow County Library posted to social media with a Oasis pun fueled post

"In 1997 two St Leo's girls made a memory that will Live Forever as they bumped into Rock 'n' Roll Star Liam Gallagher. Some Might Say they were mad to ask for VIP tickets, but Liam, happy to Roll With It, decided to Acquiesce and made them the envy of the school."

They shared a news article from the time of the concert and the news article they shared reads:

"Two Carlow students will be guests of Oasis when they play at Wembley tonight. Karen and Yvonne McCartney both students at St. Leo's College in Carlow town met Liam Gallagher in a Dublin hotel after one of the band's Irish concerts. The pair persuaded their mother, Esther, to approach members of the entourage.

To their delight Liam came over and chatted to the girls and agreed to have his picture taken with them.

He then gave them VIP passes for the Wembley concert, "They are the envy of other students. Everyone wants to hear about Liam and the girls are being treated as stars" their mother said."

Best of luck to everyone trying to snag the hottest ticket in town when Oasis tickets release on Saturday morning.
