"My sincere condolences to Matilda’s family on her passing. I will always remember her kindness.
In Feb. 1973, as a teenager, I was fortunate enough to share a room with Matilda in Royal City of Dublin Hospital. She was like a mother to me, taking care of my every need even though she was unwell herself.
Life took over, however, and I recently looked into pursuing her and was intent on following up this summer. Alas, I left it too late.
Rest easy kind Matilda."
Another reads:
"Sincere Condolences to Martin, Winnie, Buddy and all the Brennan and Curran families on the sad loss of Tillie. She was a lovely lady. May she rest in peace."
