God Knows blends his unique rap style with introspective reflections, creating a vibrant and compelling narrative
Zimbabwean Irish rapper God Knows has returned with his latest single, 'The Art of Alienation', which comes out on Friday February, 28 via Narolane Records.
This marks his first release of 2025, following his last EP 'We Move The Needle'. The single drops just in time for his debut live performance at Dolan’s pub and restaurant in Limerick on Saturday, March 1.
Inspired by Outkast’s 'The Art of Storytelling' series, the rapper's newest single takes listeners on a personal journey of self-discovery, with the town of Shannon serving as a backdrop, where he explores themes of identity and belonging.
God Knows blends his unique rap style with introspective reflections, creating a vibrant and compelling narrative.
The track delves into the concept of "alienation," defined as a sense of de-personalisation or loss of identity, often linked to societal disconnection.
For God Knows, this theme resonates deeply, particularly as he reflects on his experiences as a first-generation immigrant in Shannon, a town uniquely shaped by Ireland's history.

Speaking about ‘The Art of Alienation’, God Knows said, “The track speaks of my journey as a first generation immigrant from the first made up town in Ireland called Shannon after the river Shannon. I explore the rich history that it holds and my trials grappling between my identity as a Zimbabwean and as an Irish man.”
Known for his vividly honest lyricism and electrifying energy wherever he sets foot, God Knows has elevated Irish hip-hop to exponential levels.
As one of the two founders of Narolane records, God Knows is getting ready for the most prolific period of creativity of his life.
