Gardaí in Ennis are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a child's bicycle from a housing estate in the town.

Making a renewed appeal for information, crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan said the incident happened at Collins Park sometime between 8am and 12 midday on March 11.

"The bicycle is described as a red Apollo bike and the offender may have taken the bike out onto the Kilrush Road or the Turnpike Road," said Sgt Holohan.
