Patricia (Sally) Baker (née Campbell), Moville, (formerly of Limewood Street, Derry)

The death has taken place of the late Patricia (Sally) Baker (née Campbell), 12th August 2024, peacefully at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Letterkenny, (late of Taobh na Cille, Moville, formerly of Limewood Street), beloved wife of the late Bernard, loving mother of Colin, dear grandmother of George and Kate, and a loving sister. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Sally will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, on Thursday, 15th August from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Removal leaving there at 6:00pm to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass on Friday at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.

Una Beatty, Belfast (formerly Dungiven)

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Una Beatty peacefully on 10th August 2024 in The Mater Hospital, Belfast. May she rest in peace. Late of 92 Deerpark Road, Belfast and formerly Dungiven. Retired Midwife from The Mater Hospital where Una spent all her working days. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary R.I.P. Loving sister of Dermot (Christine) and the late Bernie (Brian), Patsy ( Eddie) and Sheila (Jackie). Deeply regretted by her loving nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Una is now reposing in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 14th August in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dungiven (19 Chapel Road, Dungiven, Co Derry BT47 4RT) at 10.00am with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard with her late parents. Lawrence Duffy, 94 Dunlade Road, Killywill

The death has occurred of the late Lawrence Duffy, 12th August 2024, beloved husband of the late Teresa, 94 Dunlade Road, Killywill, loving father of Patricia, Anthony, Fidelma, Damien, Cartha and the late Dermot and a much loved father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.20am for 12o’clock funeral Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Desmond (Dessie) Grimes, London (formerly Derry)

The death has occurred of the late Desmond (Dessie) Grimes, 9th August 2024, peacefully at home in London following a short illness. Dessie, formerly of Violet Street Waterside, beloved partner of Rhona, precious son of the late Joe and Pauline
and loving brother of Brian, Brendan & Niall, nephew of Louis and brother-in-law of Annette, Sadie and Helen, uncle & great-uncle. Cremation will take place in London on 21st August and ashes returned for interment in Derry, details yet to be announced. Family flowers only. Kathleen (Kitty) McBay (née Brady), Malin Gardens, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Kathleen (Kitty) McBay (née Brady), 12th August 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Malin Gardens), beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Michelle, Aisling, Donna, Bobby, Clodagh and John, devoted grandmother to Keenan, Chloe, Caitlyn, Dylan, Aaron, Sean, Brandon, Ryan, Sarah, Ava and Aoibheann, dear sister of Geraldine, Patricia, Hugh, Bobby, Noreen and the late John, Eddie and Molly. Kitty will be reposing at her daughter Michelle’s home, 15 Ivy Mead Mews. Funeral leaving there on Thursday, 15th August at 11:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. Christopher Charles (Chris) Oldcroft, 16 Redwood Park, Coleraine

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Christopher Charles (Chris) Oldcroft, 11th August 2024, suddenly, 16 Redwood Park, Coleraine. Dearly loved son of Charlie and Mabel, devoted daddy of Jaxon, dearest brother of Nicola and Adam, brother-in-law of Bobby and Leah, loving uncle of Alexander and Zachary, and grandson of Charlie and Ethel and the late David and Annie. We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Sally Shields (née Duddy), peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home, (late of 21 Rathmore Road), beloved wife of the late Andy, loving mother of Lesley, Raymond, Andrea, Tania, Bernard and the late Patrick and Gary, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear daughter of the late Bernard and Margaret Duddy (late of Lislane Drive), and cherished sister of the late Margaret and Benny. Loved and sadly missed by the entire family circle. Sally's Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, 15th August 2024 in St. Mary's Church, Creggan.
