Samuel (Sammie) Connor, 29 Fortsandel Avenue, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Samuel (Sammie), 17th August 2024, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, 29 Fortsandel Avenue, Coleraine. Dearly loved husband of Rosa, loving father of Jessie, Valerie and Samuel, much loved granda of Alana (Ryan) and Joshua (Chelsea), devoted great-granda of Lila, Lottie, Sophie, Jacob, Jaxson, Hollie and Grace and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. House private. Funeral service in Ballyrashane Parish Church on Tuesday at 3.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Pat (Rabbi) Fullerton, 3 O'Neill’s Bungalows, Creagh, Newbridge

Funeral arrangements for the late Pat (Rabbi) Fullerton, Died 17th August 2024 (Newbridge), peacefully at home, beloved partner of Alana O’Boyle (Rasharkin). Loving father of the late Brenda McIlvenna; son of the late Robert and Annie and much loved brother of Thomas, Eileen, Shiela and the late Mary and Jean. Funeral from his late residence, 3 O'Neill’s Bungalows, Creagh, Newbridge on Monday at 12:20pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in the Church of St. Trea Newbridge. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. St. Pio pray for him. Family time from 10.00pm to 10.00am. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing partner, brother, sisters, son-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, Cheryl, Eddie, Kyra, Caoimhe and the entire Fullerton and O’Boyle family circle. Annie Gribben (née Dougan), 52 Tirnoney Road, Maghera

We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Annie Gribben (née Dougan) (Maghera), 16th August 2024, 52 Tirnoney Road, beloved wife of Will and loving mother of Liam, Siobhan Pollock, Martina McNicholl, Fergal, Moira Lee, Seamus and Enda, dear sister of Evelyn, Hazel and the late Cassie, Tommy, Jamie and Andy. Funeral from her son’s Enda’s home, 20 Macknagh Lane Maghera BT46 5SL on Monday, 19th August for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John the Baptist Granaghan, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. St Martin Pray for Her. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. The wake for Annie will take place at Enda’s home, 20 Macknagh Lane Maghera BT46 5SL. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am.

 

Celia McAnaney (née Boyle), 68 Glenowen Park, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Celia McAnaney (née Boyle), 16th August 2024, beloved wife of the late Bobby, loving mother of Robert, Lisa, Orla, Mark, Eva and Shaun, a much loved grandmother, mother-in-law and aunt and dear sister of Marie, Charlie and Meta. Celia’s remains will be reposing in her home, 68 Glenowen Park. Funeral from there on Monday at 11.00am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Francis “Francie” McCormick, 19 Carnanbane Road, Dungiven

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Francis “Francie” McCormick, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 16th August 2024. May he rest in peace. Late of 19 Carnanbane Road, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved husband of the late Dolores R.I.P and loving father of Kieran (Rosaleen R.I.P), James (Joanne), Caroline (Sean), Martina (Mark), Bridgeen , (Ryan), Frank (Sarah) and the late Majella and Colm R.I.P. Devoted grandfather of Conor, Emma, Chloe, Oran, Orlagh, Jamie, Noah, Éabha, Ollie the late baby Mia R.I.P and great grandfather of Aódhan, Aoifé. Son of the late John and Roseann R.I.P and dear brother of Margaret , Liam and the late Jim, Jack, Eileen,Thomas and Colm R.I.P. Reposing at his late home. Family time please from 11.00pm to 11.00am. Late of 45 Coleraine Road, Portrush, Co Antrim, BT56 8HR (Formerly Magilligan). Beloved husband of the late Margaret RIP. Loving father of Peter (Ros) Sean (Nuala) Dermot (Marie) and Martin (Martina). Devoted Grandfather of Danny, Orla, Carla, Oran, Jack, Rory and Aoife. Dear brother of Kathleen O Connor and the late Mary Begley, Hall and Con. R.I.P and sadly missed by his loving partner Mary Byrne. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing at his son’s home at 45 Coleraine Road, Portrush. The death has taken place of the late Robert McKay, died 16th August 2024 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, late of 164 Moneygran Road, Portglenone. Dearly-loved husband of the late Norah and devoted father of Margaret, John, Alastair, Elizabeth, Ailsa and Andrew and dear father-in-law of Jim, Sarah, Rhonda, Jonathan, Gary and Dorothy, devoted grandfather of Matthew, Jill, Kirstie, Amy, Katie, Rachel, Craig, Neil, Ross, Callum, Katie, Darren and Leon and great-grandfather of Isabella, Brooke, Joel and Ezra. House private. A funeral service will be held in St. Patrick's Church of Ireland, Kilrea on Tuesday at 12.30pm followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please. Dorothy Toland (née McCambridge), Castleknock, Dublin 15 (formerly Derry)

The death has taken place of Dorothy Toland (née McCambridge), August 16th 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Derry). Dearly beloved wife of James and much loved mother of Andrew, Lisa, Simon, Alex, Paul and the late Karl. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Dave, daughters-in-law Leonie, Fionnuala, Linda, Karen and Nora, sisters Anne and Moya, brother-in-law, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock on Tuesday morning (20th August) at 11.00am followed by a strictly private burial.

 

Sylvia Williams, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Sylvia Williams, 16th August 2024, Peacefully at Foyle Hospice. Dearly beloved Mother of Sharon and Tracey and a devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, 19th August 2024 in Adair and Neely Funeral Home 10-12 Foyle Road at 11:00am followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Adair and Neely Funeral Home will be open for visitors to pay respects on Sunday, 18th August from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
