The IRA and a PSNI Land Rover appear in US rapper Macklemore’s latest music video.

The pro-Palestinian activist and musician released this protest song across social platforms, including YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter.

Hind’s Hall 2 is a protest song expressing solidarity with Palestine and condemning Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.

The Seattle, Washington-born rapper has been a vocal supporter of Palestinian since the outbreak of war in the region following the Hamas attacks on October 7 last year.

It is a follow-up to Hind’s Hall, which was released as a single in May.

The song was released on September 20, with Macklemore posting on X that all proceeds will go to UNRWA USA.

The video features clips of pro-Palestine demonstrations from across the world, including Dublin, as well as graphic images from war-torn Gaza and the West Bank.

And it also displays the suffering of the Palestinian people from the military action by the Israelis in Gaza.

Other clips in the video display historic footage of IRA men in military attire preparing to fire their rifles in the air and of a young man attacking a PSNI Land Rover.

Macklemore has proudly confessed that he is an Irishman while hoisting a tricolour aloft in his song ‘Irish celebration’, which was written for St Patrick's Day and inspired by Irish immigration to the US and the country's rebellious history.

Benjamin Hammond Haggerty (Macklemore) has traced his heritage back to Cork on his father’s side and he has performed multiple times on the island since 2011, including at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Derry 2013.
