The death has taken place of the late Francis Kathleen Doherty (née Wade), January 23 2026, Peacefully at her home, 22 Culmore Point, Culmore (surrounded by her loving family), much loved wife of Eric, devoted mother of Jacqueline and Wesley, adored granny of Isaac and Rowan, loving sister of Margaret, Audrey, Hazel, David and the late Billy, Joan, Maurice and Bobby. Funeral leaving her late home on Monday, January 26 at 1.00pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for her life in St Peters Church (Culmore Road) at 1.30pm, burial afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Monica Doherty (née King), January 24 2026, peacefully at home, beloved wife of the late Noel, 6 Beechwood Park, Strathfoyle, loving mother of Eileen, George, Catherine, Francis, Pauline, Dolores, Tony, Eamon and the late Adrian and Vincent and a much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Sunday and Monday from 12noon – 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 11.30am for 12o’clock. Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle. The death has occurred of the late Lawrence Donaghy, January 23 2026, Suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved husband of Pauline. Loving father of Madonna (Mark), Caroline (Liam), Laraine (Richard) and the late Ann Marie. Devoted grandfather of Cathal, Ryan (Chloe), Rachel, Aidan and Adam. And a much loved brother. It is with deep sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of Gertrude Kolocotrones (née Brolly), Suddenly but peacefully, on Christmas Day, at her home in Tom’s River, NJ. Gertrude, beloved wife of the late Jim; devoted mother of Catherine (Klaus), Peter (Claire), and Jennifer; adored grandmother of Hannah (Sherif), Fini, Claudia, Julia, Caroline, Colette, Charlotte, and Ruby; and dearly loved sister of Mary K, Eunan and the late Sue, Francie and Bernie. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins and large circle of friends. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace. The death has taken place of Mary McIntyre, January 23 2026, peacefully at Oakleaves Care Home beloved wife of Patsy loving mother of Pat, Damien, Paul and Ann.
