The quiet McClure's Terrace cul-de-sac in Letterkenny
Rowdy would-be intruders who attempted to enter a house in a quiet Letterkenny cul-de-sac have become the focus for local gardaí as they attempt to track them down.
The incident happened at approximately 4am on Tuesday, January 4 at McClure's Terrace, just off the High Road.
A resident heard banging at their front door and on looking out saw the culprits and shouts out to them. The would-be intruders ran off but not before they had damaged the door.
Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing to anyone who may have been passing or travelling through the area at this time to contact them, particularly if they have any dash cam footage.
They feel because it was a quiet time of the night it would be easier to remember a person or people in this area at that time.
