Planning permission has been granted for a new restaurant in Ballyshannon
Donegal County Council has given the green light to a new restaurant in Ballyshannon.
Planning permission has been granted in relation to a property at Castle Street.
Jonathan Clemmett sought permission for a change of use from a retail unit to use as a restaurant. The application included provision for all associated elevational changes and signage.
The local authority has granted permission to the application, which was submitted in mid February.
The developer is now to agree in writing details of signage with the planning authority as part of five conditions set down by the Council.
No surface water shall be permitted to discharge to the public road and the applicant is to take steps to ensure that no public road water discharges to the site.
Foul water outlets from the food preparation areas are to be fitted with proprietary grease-traps prior to discharging to the public sewer. These traps are to be inspected and maintained regularly.
