The Criminal Assets Bureau
Three properties in Donegal were raided by the Criminal Assets Bureau on Wednesday morning.
CAB officers were aided by Gardai from Donegal in the operation, which centred on two homes in west Donegal and a business premises in Letterkenny.
Dozens of officers were involved in the early morning swoop and it is understood that as many as 70 took part.
Donegal Live understands that the three properties at the centre of the focus are connected.
Officers entered the properties at around 6am with items seized as part of the probe.
A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office has said that the operation is 'ongoing'.
