The video warns of 'significant risks' this time of year

Donegal Fire Service has issued an important warning to the public ahead of this year's Halloween festivities.

In a video posted on Facebook, members of the fire service said "Halloween can be one of the busiest times of year for us and bonfires can present a significant risk."

Throughout the video, members of the Donegal Fire Service can be seen with a detached hand on their shoulder in true Adams Family style, making the video a little light-hearted but still containing a very serious message.

Members of the public are urged to be vigilant when it comes to fire safety this time of the year, and are reminded that very dangerous objects such as aerosol cans can cause chaos when thrown on to a blazing fire.
