Two people hospitalised following Burnfoot crash
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision between Burnfoot and Fahan.
The two-car crash occurred on the outskirts of Burnfoot just after 5.40pm this evening in the vicinity of Rockhead.
One of the vehicles involved in the smash is a garda vehicle. The drivers of both vehicles have been transported to Letterkenny University Hospital as a precaution.
In a statement, a Garda spokesperson confirmed that emergency services are currently at the scene.
“The collision involving two vehicles occurred in Tooban Upper at approximately 5:40pm. One of the vehicles involved is an official Garda vehicle.”
“Both drivers were brought to the hospital as a precaution.”

Drivers can expect some delays as the road has tailbacks following the crash, with An Garda Siochana still in attendance.
