The man was seriously injured during Storm Amy.
Gardaí and emergency services are attending the scene of a serious injury incident involving a male in Letterkenny.
The incident occurred this evening, October 3rd, shortly after 4.15pm, during the worst of the Storm Amy Red Alert weather warning.
It is understood that the serious incident is related to the weather. As the incident is ongoing, Gardai have said that there is no further information at this time.
An Garda Síochána is urging members of the public to heed the weather advice and exercise extreme caution. “Please stay indoors and stay safe while the red warning is in force,” a Garda spokesperson said.
