Dermot O'Leary at the Lemon Tree Restaurant in Letterkenny
Popular television presenter Dermot O’Leary has wrapped up filming in Donegal for his new series of Dermot O’Leary’s Taste of Ireland.
O’Leary travelled to Donegal and Derry to film for an episode in the second series of the programme. The first series took in locations in Kinsale, Cork, Wexford, Dublin, and Belfast.
The TV star, whose parents hail from Wexford, was spotted filming in Carndonagh and An Grianán of Aileach.
An online social media post from Rock Oyster Media said: “That’s a wrap on our second filming block for (Dermot O’Leary’s Taste of Ireland)! This time, we ventured through Donegal and Derry, and what a journey it was.

“Beekeeping with Abdul - from buzzing hives to golden honey, Abdul’s warmth and wonder guided us through this delicious harvest at Donagh Bees.
“We got a taste of Ireland’s honey with a Syrian twist, before enjoying sweeping views at the incredible Grianán of Aileach.
“Foraging with Sean - deep in Ireland’s temperate rainforest, we gathered golden chanterelles before savouring them as ravioli at The Lemon Tree, a brilliant family-run restaurant in Letterkenny.
“These are just a few of the incredible tastes and adventures we’ve enjoyed so far. There’s so much more to come, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
