Gardaí are investigating the alleged assault
A man was hospitalised after he was assaulted in Letterkenny.
The incident occurred at Lower Main Street, Letterkenny on Sunday, December 7, at approximately 2:35am.
This incident was only recently reported to Gardaí. A man was reported to have been assaulted at that location as he left a premises.
He received medical treatment following the incident at Letterkenny University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

“If anyone witnessed the incident or if they have any relevant information/dash-cam footage from the area in question on that date, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” said Garda Gráinne Doherty.
