Gardaí are investigating the incident of criminal damage
A car was set alight in Lifford on Sunday evening.
The incident occurred in the area of Toberoneill, Ballindrait, Lifford on Sunday, December 14 between approximately 7:40pm and 7:55pm.
A car that was parked at a premises in that area was set alight between those times. The fire brigade attended the scene and extinguished the fire. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have been in that area with a dash-cam between 7:30pm and 8pm to make the footage available to us,” said Garda Gráinne Doherty. “We are particularly interested in hearing about any sightings of a group of men on foot in the area.
