Gardaí are investigating the alleged assault
A man was hospitalised after an assault by a “number of males” in Letterkenny.
The incident happened at Lower Main Street, Letterkenny at approximately 00:45am on Saturday, December 13.
Gardaí received a report of a fight taking place at that location and when they arrived they spoke with an injured man who stated that he had been assaulted by a number of males. The man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
“We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have relevant information, to get in touch with Letterkenny Gardaí on 074-9167100,” said Garda Gráinne Doherty. “As always, we wish to speak to anyone who may have been in the area around that time with a dash-cam.”
