Donegal take on Monaghan in the Dr McKenna Cup final this evening at Omagh's Healy Park.

The side managed by Jim McGuinness overcame Derry on a 1-18 to 1-16 scoreline at Celtic Park to seal their place in the showpiece, with Monaghan getting the better of Tyrone on a similar scoreline of 1-15 to 2-10 in Inniskeen.

Donegal last faced Monaghan in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final at Croke Park, winning 1-26 to 1-20, following a fine second-half performance.

This evening's match is live on TG4 TV, with Micheál Ó Domhnaill presenting from 4:45pm.
