South-West Donegal club are hosts of the Donegal and All-Ireland Comórtas competitions in 2026 with the action on the May and June Bank Holiday weekends

CLG Chill Chartha has officially launched its fundraising draw for Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta 2026, with a total prize fund of €30,000 on offer.

The draw forms a key part of preparations for the prestigious tournament, which will bring teams, supporters, and visitors from across Ireland’s Gaeltacht regions to Kilcar on the June Bank holiday 2026.

With a top prize of €20,000, the draw also includes a second prize of €5,000, followed by five additional prizes of €1,000 each. Tickets are priced at €20 each, with bundle options available — 3 for €50 or 7 for €100.

At the launch prior to their home game against Naomh Muire on Sunday, Aodh Cannon, Uachtarán of CLG Chill Chartha said: “We’re asking the community at home and away to get behind us as we prepare to host Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta 2026. This event is hugely important for the area, both culturally and economically, and your support will help us deliver something really special.”

Funds raised will go directly towards hosting the event, including facilities, organisation, and welcoming teams and visitors to the area.

Tickets are available now from club members and online.

For more information, follow CLG Chill Chartha on social media or contact the club directly.
