Fantastic chance for children with intellectual disabilities to learn kayaking

Young people with an intellectual disability are being given a fantastic opportunity to enjoying the many benefits of kayaking.

A four-week kayaking programme for children aged eight years and older with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) will take place at the Lakeside Centre in Ballyshannon. It begins on Wednesday, June 8.

The programme will be delivered by Donegal Bay Inclusive Sports Hub, with assistance from Rossnowlagh, and children must have confidence in the open water.

The cost for the four sessions is €40.
