Martin and Fred getting their heads shaved for charity
Currys in Letterkenny might have been a busy spot on Black Friday - but there was still time for the staff and customers to forget about the latest sales and support a wonderful charity effort.
Currys Letterkenny General Manager Martin Goldrick, and Sales Manager Fred Williams took part in a charity head shave - all for a good cause.
Their Black Friday fundraiser has raised over €2,000 for Donegal Hospice - and the money is still coming
Martin said: "The Donegal Hospice is part of everyday life here in Donegal and provides exemplary cover and care to all who need to avail of its services.

“Like so many others, cancer has come into our colleagues’ lives here in Currys Letterkenny, so myself and the team wanted to help the hospice by way of holding a head shave fundraising event on Black Friday. The hospice relies on fundraisers like this for at least 20% of the funding they need in order to buy specialist equipment, so we hope that our event has helped them out.”
Previous events in store to raise funds for Donegal Cancer charities have always been a huge success with the local community getting on board and donating funds, and Martin and the team hopes this event will be the same.
