NCT Ireland is shocked at one of their latest testings where a driver used a Coke can to repair their exhaust

NCT Ireland has shared a shocking photograph of one of their recent examinations where a driver has been caught out with their failed DIY cover-up.

The driver used a Coke can on their exhaust which has baffled NCT testers.

In a post on social media, NCT Ireland said: “This vehicle owner, aka MacGyver, thought using Coke cans for an exhaust repair was a genius move. Always rely on a reputable mechanic for your vehicle repairs!”.

Social media users in the comments have argued against NCT Ireland, one person said: “If it works it ain’t stupidity, I’ve seen worse done with a welder. I bet the car still passed the emissions test prior to going on the lift”.

Another person said: “I see no problem there. Guaranteed if he sprayed it black first you’d not have noticed”.
