Russell Crowe has again sparked a wave of innuendo on Twitter after sharing that he had sampled the Muff Liquor Company’s gin.

Having shared news of his purchase on New Year’s Eve, the New Zealand-born movie star again took to Twitter this week.

He posted a picture of the bottle of Muff Liquor Company’s gin, saying: “Goes down well ….”

The inevitable Muff puns followed, with one follower saying: “You can't beat a bit of Irish muff Russell.”

Another asked: “What does it taste like?”

A third follower asked: “Diving in are you?”

And one person simply said: “Oh my.”

Some of the other replies to the Gladiator star’s Tweet included:

“Russell....you're so naughty! Lol!”

“Dive in Russell.”

“Tickles the lips?”

“I love putting my lips round a nice cold muff.”

With the Tweet having already been viewed more than 80,000 times, it is great exposure for Muff Liquor Company.
