Finn Park was to host Harps and Derry City on Saturday afternoon

Finn Harps’ first pre-season outing of 2025 has been called off with their scheduled hosting of Derry City this afternoon falling due to a failed pitch inspection.  

A walk round was carried out on Saturday morning at Finn Park and with the recent cold snap in full thaw, it was determined that the contest couldn't go ahead at the Ballybofey venue.

The game might yet be re-fixed for next weekend. Meanwhile, Harps are also down to take on Keadue Rovers away from home on Saturday, January 25 while Darren Murphy and his squad have lined up another away challenge against Sligo Rovers on February 8.
