Vivienne Mc Daid (née Lynch) Boston, Massachusetts and formerly of Umricam, Buncrana
The death has taken place of Vivienne Mc Daid (née Lynch) in Boston, Massachusetts. Formerly of Umricam, Buncrana. Deeply saddened by her loss are her husband Eamon, son Damien and daughter Chloe, mother Mary, father Gerard, brothers Calvin, Jason, Spencer and sister Amanda, mother and father-in-law, Lily and Owen, all her brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Vivienne’s remains will be reposing at her family home in Umricam, Buncrana F93Y5F1. Wake house will commence on Saturday, December 17 from 5pm. House private from 11pm-11am and also private on the morning of Vivienne’s funeral.

Due to limited car parking space at Vivienne’s residence, cars can be parked at Umricam shop and a shuttle bus will be in operation to facilitate anyone attending the wake house. This will commence from 5pm-11pm on Saturday, December 17, and from 12-11pm on Sunday, December 18.

Funeral will be leaving on Monday, December 19, at 10am, travelling to Cockhill Chapel for Mass at 11am, with burial after in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Donegal Cancer Bus and can also be given to any family member.

Conleth Tourish, Curraghlane, Lifford and Strabane, Tyrone

The death has occurred of Conleth Tourish, Curraghlane, Lifford and Strabane, Tyrone. 

Much loved brother of Mary, Carmel, William, Patrick, Yvonne, Paul and the late Fidelma. Reposing at his sister Mary Catterson's home, Curraghlane, Lifford F93 F2CX on Saturday, December 17, from 4pm. Funeral leaving his sister's home on Monday, December 19, at 10.25am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church, Lifford at 11am. Interment afterwards in St Columba's Cemetery, Drumoghill.

Bridie Doogan, Lower Keeldrum, Gortahork

The sudden death has occurred, in Letterkenny University Hospital, of Bridie Doogan, Lower Keeldrum, Gortahork F92 V668.
Predeceased by her parents, her brothers Josie and John, sisters Ann and Julie. Survived by her husband Paddy, sons Patrick and James, daughter Julie Ann, in-laws, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral from there on Sunday, December 18, for 1pm Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork, with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Eugene Bradley, 7 St Oliver’s Avenue, Buncrana

The unexpected death has taken place of Eugene Bradley, 7 St Oliver’s Avenue, Buncrana.
 
Eugene’s remains will repose at his late residence from 1pm this afternoon, Friday December 16.
 
Funeral from there on Sunday, December 18 at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am Funeral Mass.
 
Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 11am. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired to The Mater Hospital Intensive Care Unit c/o any family member or Porter Funeral Directors.

Shaun O’Shaughnessy, Ballyheerin, Kilmacrennan

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University hospital of Shaun O’Shaughnessy, Ballyheerin, Kilmacrennan F92 N6T0.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and Michael and his brother Thomas.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Bridget, daughter Fiona and husband Seamus McFadden (Navan), sons Michael and wife Claire (Kilmacrennan) and Kevin and partner Olivia (Manorcunningham), grandchildren Shane, Niall, Darragh, Jamie and Finn, sister Breid Barry (Boston), brothers Michéal and Patrick (Rosscahill, County Galway), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Remains will be reposing at his late residence on Friday, December 16, from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both evenings at 9pm.

House private on the morning of the funeral, please. Funeral from there on Saturday, December 17, at 11.30am going to St. Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan for 12 noon Requiem Mass which can be viewed on Church Services TV St Columba’s Church Kilmacrennan.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Rory Greene, Ardsbeg, Gortahork

The tragic death has occurred, due to a road traffic accident in Australia, of Rory Greene, Ardsbeg, Gortahork, F92 X865.

Rory had resided in Australia over the last few years. He is survived by his wife Frances, his three children Mary-Kate, Ruán and Íona, his parents, Bernard and Dorothy, his three sisters Patricia, Cairtríona and Bríd- Siobhán, his four brothers Bernard, Ciarán, Stephen and Feargal, nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and a large circle of family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral from there on Saturday for 1pm Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork, with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

Rosary at 8pm, house private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Eamon Clarke, Quigley's Point

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Eamon Clarke, The Bungalow, Three Trees, Quigley's Point, F93 A393.

Eamon’s remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from his home on Saturday at 9.30am for 10am Requiem Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Muff followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Rose Cushnan, Fanad, Motherwell and Antrim

The death has occurred peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, of Rose Cushnan (neé Whyte), Ballina, Tamney, Fanad and formerly Carfin, Motherwell and Toome, County Antrim.

Predeceased by her husband Frankie and her brothers Pat and John. Deeply regretted by her sons James and John, daughters Margaret Rose Mc Gonigle, Eleanor Giles and Mary B Mullen, her thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Sadly missed by her brother Jimmy and sisters Margaret, Moira and Anne (all Motherwell), daughters-in-law Donna and Sheila and sons-in-law Colm, Anthony and Brian, her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Rose’s remains are reposing at her late residence. Rosary at 8pm both nights. Family time only please from 10pm to 11am.

Removal from there at 11.30am on Sunday arriving at St Columba’s Church, Massmount for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Paddy Grant, Burnfoot

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Paddy Grant, Garvery, Burnfoot.

Beloved husband of Bridget, loving father of Geraldine, Yvonne, Christopher, Gary, Martin, Breige and Mary and dear brother of Tillie, Margaret, Bernadette, Mickey, Colm and the late Mary Ann, Willie and Johnny. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, his extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his residence on Friday from 11am. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Removal from his home Sunday at 10.45am to St Mura's Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Marie McGinty, Donegal Town

The death has occurred suddenly of Marie McGinty, 13 Mill Race Cresent, Donegal Town.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Nancy and her brother Patrick. Sadly missed by her long-term partner Peter Lang, her sons, Peter, Conor and Daniel, and daughter Alisha, her brothers Sean and Peter McGinty, her sisters, Rose Browne and Donna McGinty, brother in-law Shane Browne and sister in-law Glenda McGinty, and her aunt Eileen McGinty.

Her remains will repose at Gallagher's Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (F94 WN24) on Friday from 3pm until 8pm.

Removal from there on Saturday, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Witold Okla, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, of Witold Okla, 62 Belindus Avenue, Ballyshannon.

Sadly missed by his wife Jolanta, sons Mateusz and Lukasz, daughter-in-law Monika and Marzena and granddaughter Nina and all his extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Rd, Ballyshannon, F94ED21, on Friday from 7pm to 9pm.

Removal on Saturday at 10.30am to St. Patrick's Church, Ballyshanonn, for 11am funeral Mass, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan for 2pm.

John Gallagher, Falcarragh

The sudden death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of John Gallagher, Carrowcannon and Main Street Falcarragh.

Survived by his loving wife Hannah, his step daughter Jackie Keegan, son-in-law John, and his adoring grandchildren, Robert, Jack, Mark and Claire. Also sadly missed by brother Fionn (Mullingar), sister Mary Rose Boyle and by his many nieces, nephews and a circle of friends. 

House is private to family and close friends please.

Theresa Curran, Newtownards and Letterkenny

The death has taken place at her home of Theresa Curran, Newtownards, County Down and formerly 64 Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny F92 V52P.

Predeceased by her partner Brian, parents Bobby and Kathleen and brothers Sean, Michael and Eddie.

Deeply missed by her sons Paul (Australia) and Liam and wife Tonia (Ashlawn, Letterkenny), grandchildren Holly and Jai, sisters Ann Mitchell (Lifford) and Patricia Gallen (Killygordon), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
