RIP to the late Celia Kehoe and Sam Wilkinson

The death has occurred of

Celia (Leil) Kehoe
(née Kehoe)
Celbridge, Kildare / Kilmore Quay, Wexford

KEHOE (née Kehoe), (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford) December 21st 2023 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Hazel Hall Nursing Home, Clane.

 

Celia (Leil), beloved wife of Joe, cherished mother of Rebecca and Jeremy and a devoted grandmother to Nathan, Emmett, Jacob, Sebastian and Robin.

 

Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, son-in-law Brian, daughter-in-law Brenda, grandchildren, sisters Margaret and Lucy, brothers James and Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

A celebration of Celia’s life will take place at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge at 10am on Saturday morning (Dec 23rd) followed by cremation in Newland’s Cross Crematorium.

Hugh (Hugo) Gallagher - Aodh Ó Gallchóir
Ryevale Lawns, Leixlip, Kildare / Inch Island, Donegal


Gallagher, Hugh (Hugo) (Aodh Ó Gallchóir), Ryevale Lawns, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Inch Island, Co. Donegal and retired Dept of Agriculture, December 21st 2023, Peacefully after a short illness borne with great bravery and courage, at home, in the arms of his loving wife Mary and family. Predeceased by his loving son Tom and sister Kathleen, Hugh was a loving dad of Tom, Olive, Deirdre and Éadaoin. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Olive, Deirdre, Éadaoin, daughter in law Áine, sons in law Dan, Liam and Colm, brother John (Maulden), sisters Anne (Derry), Mary (London), Rosaleen (USA) and Margaret (London), sisters in law Eileen, Carmel and Sheila and brothers in law Dave and Johnny, adoring grandchildren Aisling, Caoimhe, Niamh, Hugo, Martha, Conall, Éabha, Ciara, Tom, Harry and Darragh, Gallagher & Moriarty relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence on Friday from 3pm-8pm, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 9.30am to arrive at The Church of Our Lady's Nativity, Leixlip for 10am funeral mass, followed by burial in Confey Cemetery. Those who are unable to attend the funeral, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section below.

Clonmullion, Athy, Kildare
Martin Phillips, Clonmullion, Athy, Co. Kildare passed away peacefully in St. Bridget’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday 20th December, 2023. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, his son Martin, daughter Mary, grandchildren Darragh, Caoimhe and Jaxon, brothers John and Dick, sisters Mary and Rose, uncle Peter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Martin will repose at Smallford, Athy (R14 F652) on Friday 22nd December from 2pm until removal at 4.45pm, funeral cortege will walk from the railway bridge at 5.15pm to St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for reception prayers at 5.30pm. Samuel (Sam) Wilkinson
Glen of Aherlow, Tipperary / Naas, Kildare
The death has taken place of Samuel (Sam) Wilkinson, late of Naas, Co. Kildare and Holmesgrove, Glen of Aherlow, who passed away peacefully on December 19th 2023, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Caroline and much loved father of Neville and Laura. Adored grandad of James,Hannah and Ava and brother to Nicholas and Bob, daughter in-law Bróna, son in-law Brian, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, good friends and neighbours.

Funeral Service will take place for Sam on Saturday, 23rd of December 2023, at 12.30pm in St Sedna's Church of Ireland Church, Clonbeg (Eircode E34 XT32) followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
