According to KCC, the closure will take place on the R405 Maynooth Road in Celbridge.

KCC said that it would like to advise that Coffey Group will not commence the works as originally scheduled (for March 24 last), and noted that they were previously advertised in The Irish Independent.

Instead, KCC said that the works will commence on the R405 on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, "in keeping with the statutory rules laid out under Section 75 of the Roads Traffic Act 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994".
