Works have commenced on an €8m development at Gaelscoil Ruairí, Maynooth, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), works commenced on-site on April 13 2026, with respect of the site addressed at Moyglare Road, Maynooth, Co Kildare.
A decision to grant planning permission was issued by Kildare County Council on July 16 2021 to Gaelscoil Ruairí for a two-storey, eight classroom primary school building (roll number 20527f).
The plans include a two classroom SEN base, a general purpose hall and ancillary accommodation. The proposed scheme incorporates associated car parking, access road, pedestrian and bicycle access, construction of an external ball court and play areas, landscaping connection to public services, and all associated site works.
The main contractor is Glasgiven Contracts Limited.
