How the new homes will look
Work is due to start on building 88 homes in Athy.
The units in Coneyboro off the Carlow Road will include 15 3-bed semi-detached dwellings, 15 2-bed semi-detached dwellings, 26 3-bed end of terrace dwellings and 32 2-bed mid-terrace dwellings.
The estimated construction value of the project is €14m, according to Building Information Ireland database.
The total floor area is 8,876m2 and the site area spans 3.62 hectares.
The designs include signage, drainage, street lighting and landscaping.
