A man aged in his 20s has been hospitalised following an assault incident which occurred in Kildare town.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the matter, a garda spokesperson had this to say: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault that occurred in Kildare town on (Thursday) August 15, 2024.
"A man (20s) was taken to Naas General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"No arrests have been made."
The spokesperson concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
