This April, we are proud to celebrate a very special milestone, our 20th birthday, and we’re inviting the entire community to be part of a truly magical week of festivities!
Kicking things off in style, our main celebration takes place on Monday, April 6th (Easter Monday), with a spectacular day planned for all ages. The celebrations begin at 11:45am with a colourful Magical Parade through the town to Whitewater, bringing music, energy, and excitement right to the heart of the community.
From there, the party continues with live music from The New Brass Kings, a vibrant disco atmosphere, and a host of free family activities including face painting, balloons, and plenty of surprises throughout the day. It promises to be a joyful celebration filled with laughter, music, and community spirit.
But one day simply isn’t enough, we’ve planned a full week of entertainment so everyone can join in the fun!
A Week of Celebration for Everyone
Monday 6th – Easter Monday (from 11:45am)
Our big birthday bash featuring the parade, live music, disco, face painting, balloons, and more.
Tuesday 7th (11am – 5pm)
A relaxed and enjoyable day with something for all generations:
Senior Bingo: 11am – 1pm
Petting Farm: 2pm – 5pm
Face painting for the kids
Wednesday 8th (11am – 5pm)
Senior Bingo: 11am – 1pm
Giant Games: 2pm – 5pm — perfect for some friendly competition and laughs
Thursday 9th (11am – 7pm)
A lively mix of entertainment:
Senior Bingo: 11am – 1pm
Magic Show: 2pm – 5pm
Free candy floss
A special performance from the Kildare Dancers at 6:30pm
Friday 10th (from 10am)
Start your day with community spirit and song:
Morning Coffee Singalong with Joe Laffin
“Minute to Win It” games: 2pm – 5pm — fast-paced fun for all ages
Saturday 11th (1pm – 5:30pm)
A highlight for families with younger children:
Meet & greet with Bluey and Bingo at intervals
Face painting and lots of smiles guaranteed
Sunday 12th (2pm – 5pm)
Wind down the week with a heartwarming afternoon featuring a Gospel Choir & friends - the perfect way to close out our celebrations.
This week is about more than just marking 20 years, it’s about celebrating the people who made it possible. Whether you’ve been part of our journey from the beginning or are joining us for the first time, we would love to see you there.
Bring your friends, bring your family, and most importantly, bring your sense of fun, let’s make this a celebration to remember for years to come!
