Bridge Street, Callan
The Active Travel scheme works for Bridge Street are expected to go to tender this month.
Local councillors were told at their recent meeting that tender drawings are now completed and have been reviewed by Kilkenny County Council.
Tender documents will be available on the eTenders website this week.
It is hoped to have some feedback for the Callan Thomastown Municipal District Councillors at their April meeting.
Meanwhile, work has started on the Dock Road in Graignamanagh, under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
Work has also begun in the town on the footpath between the boat house and Wood Road with undergrowth site clearing.
The main work has gone out to tender.
