Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a serious single-vehicle collision close to Dunmore on the outskirts of Kilkenny City.
The collision happened at approximately 2pm on the N77 Kilkenny to Castlecomer Road.
One male has been taken to St Luke's Hospital.
The road remains closed and diversions are in place through the Ballyfoyle Road.
Anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny gardaí on (056) 7775000.
