The Fianna Fáil party have officially confirmed the nomination of 12 candidates to their local ticket for the Local Elections in Kilkenny.
The Local Elections are due to take place on Friday, June 7.
Joe Sheridan, Maria Wall and Jenny Catt Slattery join the nine sitting Kilkenny councillors bidding for a seat in four Kilkenny Local Electoral Areas - Castlecomer, Kilkenny City, Callan Thomastown and Piltown.
"I'm sure if elected and re-elected these candidates will deliver positive local engagement with the people of Kilkenny on the issues that matter most to them," Kilkenny Fianna Fáil TD, John McGuinness commented.
