Kilkenny man charged with possession and production of child sexual abuse material

A man accused of possessing and producing child pornography had his case adjourned for a book of evidence at Kilkenny District Court.

The defendant, who appeared in court last week, was granted bail subject to a number of conditions including that he reside at a named address and remain contactable by phone at all times.

The defendant is accused of three counts of production of child pornography at a location unknown on dates between June 14, 2022 and June 21, 2022 and on July 25, 2022 and on dates between August 9 and August 16, 2022.

Judge Geraldine Carthy adjourned the matters before the court to July 16 for the production of a book of evidence.
