ALERT: Gardaí issue urgent appeal for missing 13-year-old boy

Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a missing teenage boy from Westmeath who is known to frequent Kilkenny.

Fergus Harty, aged 13-years-old, has been reported missing from his home in Ballymore, County Westmeath since Sunday, 3 November. 

Gardaí say that Fergus was last seen in Athlone town centre on Sunday afternoon.

The teenager is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Fergus was last seen wearing a grey Northface tracksuit, a black puffer jacket and a black baseball cap.

Gardaí have asked anyone with information on Fergus’s whereabouts to contact Athlone Garda Station on 090 649 2600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
