Snow White runs at the Watergate Theatre until January 12
Get ready for a magical, musical adventure full of laughs, love, and a little bit of magic in this year’s pantomime Snow White, live at the Watergate Theatre in Kilkenny.
The beautiful Snow White is the kindest princess in the land, beloved by all – except for her wicked stepmother, Queen Gremelda, who’s consumed with jealousy over Snow White’s beauty. Desperate to remain the fairest of them all, Queen Gremelda enlists the help of her magic mirror, which we may add has quite a reputation for telling the harsh truth.
When the mirror declares Snow White the fairest in the land, the wicked Queen enlists the help of Bashem and Bustem and she hatches a dastardly plan to rid herself of the girl forever.
With the queen’s evil plot set in motion, Snow White flees to the enchanted forest, where she discovers a charming little cottage. Inside, she meets its quirky occupants – let’s just say they’re bossy, happy, sleepy, bashful, grumpy, a little bit Dopey!
The pantomine runs at the Watergate Theatre until January 12.
