Thomastown Community Network (TCN) is inviting residents of all backgrounds to join a new event designed to help boost community integration and tackle rural isolation.
The inaugural ‘Summer Fest’ event will take place at the Watergarden, Lady’s Well Street, Thomastown, County Kilkenny on Sunday, May 25 from 5pm to 8pm.
Organisers hope the relaxed evening of live music and locally sourced food will encourage greater community participation, and further strengthen community spirit.

Food stalls will feature Breagagh Valley Meats, Blásta Pizza, Rockfield Ice Cream, and Truffle Fairy Chocolatier.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drinks, a picnic blanket or chair, and to come ready to meet neighbours.
A kiosk will also be set up with information about TCN and how locals can get involved.
Entry is by suggested donation of €2 per person.
