St Luke's General Hospital
There are six patients waiting for a trolley in the emergency department at St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny today (Monday) and a further ten patients waiting on the ward according to today’s (Wednesday) INMO Trolley Watch figures.
Nationally, there are 495 patients waiting for beds, 309 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 186 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

The number of patients treated without a bed at St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny City in the month of January reached its highest level since 2023 as units struggle to cope with increased winter demand for treatment.
Data released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) showed that 323 patients in the hospital were treated on trolleys last month.
