Laois Tidy Towns group seeks planning permission

Laois village aims to cross the Offaly border to win big prize

Residents of a picturesque Laois village are looking for planning permission for a new bus shelter and bin.

Clonalsee Tidy Towns has published notice of their intention to apply for permission for the bus shelter and new bin and all associated works on the Main Street in Clonaslee.

Clonaslee Tidy Towns are extremely active in the upkeep of the village in the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

Members of Clonalsee Tidy Town keep the village looking well and are continuously improving their area by cleaning, painting, weeding, planting flowers and other work.

The hard working group has previously won a national medal in the Tidy Towns Competition in 2017 and regularly rank well in both the Tidy Towns and Pride of Place competitions.
