A Laois woman has collected a cheque for a cool €20,000 after winning the top prize in her local Tidy Towns lotto fundraiser.
Julie Martin won the Ballacolla Tidy Towns lotto jackpot when the numbers were drawn on Monday, November 6. The winning numbers were 2, 8, 9, 20.
The Tidy Towns team in the south Laois community sent their best wishes: "Big Congratulations to Julie, a very deserving winner!
Julie Martin collected her winnings on Monday, November 13. She was presented with her cheque by winning promoter Barry Hyland. Also present at the presentation were Tidy Towns members Claire Meade, Jimmy Henneberry and Dan Shiel.
