Breda Kennedy - Clonaslee

Breda Kennedy, 3 Birr Road, Banagher, Co Offaly and formerly of Cloonagh, Clonaslee died on December 11, 2023 at Tullamore Hospital. Breda was predeceased by her parents Eamon and Sarah and her brother Patrick. Always remembered by her son Luke and his father Ray, extended family, neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace. 

Funeral mass will take place in St. Cronan’s Church, Lusmagh on Thursday morning at 11am followed by private cremation.

Kevin Martin- Mountmelick

Of 8 Emmet Street, Mountmellick. Died unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 12. Predeceased by his father John. Kevin will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Kathleen, sister Geraldine, brothers David and John Ambrose, his aunts, uncles, cousins and all who knew him. May He Rest In Peace

Mary Stoddart(née Seale)- Durrow

Of Grange, Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Galway. Mary passed unexpectedly at her home on Monday, December 11. Formerly of Attanagh, Durrow. Predeceased by her brothers Des and Robert. Mary will be sadly missed and forever loved by her loving husband Robert, her daughter Myrtle and sons George and Alan, their partners Paal, Gillian and Eileen, grandchildren Luke, Andrew, Sophie, Eve, Nathan and Isobella, brothers Ray and Willie, sisters in law Joyce, Pam and Shirley, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Resting where no shadows fall. Mary will repose at St. Catherine's Community Hall, Aughrim (H53 D9F4) on Thursday, December 14 from 6 pm with removal at 8 pm to St. John's Church, Ballinasloe. Funeral Service on Friday at 1 pm with interment afterwards in Holy Trinity Churchyard, Aughrim.

Patrick (P) Dunne - Mountmellick

Patrick Dunne (Better known as P.) Davitt Road Mountmellick died Monday, December 11, 2023 in the loving care of the staff at Oghill Nursing Home.

Beloved son of the late Paddy and Mary. Predeceased by his dear brother Eddie (Davitt Road) & sister Mary Kelly (UK). Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Carmel Barker (U.K.) Patsy Barker (U.K), Geraldine Barnett (Rosenallis), Ann Meehan (Mountmellick),Theresa Clear Mountmellick, Martin (Portlaoise), Uncle of Darrin Dunne Pavement and Ground Works Company Portlaoise, brothers and sisters-in-law,neices, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing Moloneys Funeral Home Mountmellick on Wednesday from 7.30pm Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Thursday from 1pm Removal at 1.45pm to St Joseph's Church Mountmellick arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial after in St.Josephs Cemetery.

Kevin McDermott- Mountrath

Of Clasleigh Knockalton, Nenagh, Tipperary, E45 YX74. Late of Woodbrook, Mountrath. (Member of E.S.B Ireland). Died on Monday, December 11, peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of the staff at The Oncology Ward of the Beacon Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his beloved parents John and Mary - Anne, brothers Philip and Jim and his infant sisters, sister in law Fionnuala, father in law Martin Casey & mother in law Jenny Casey. Will be sadly missed by his loving wife Winnie and cherished family Jennifer & Ciaran, sisters Teresa and Ann, brothers Willie, Charlie, Michael & John, son in law Jake, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, his colleagues at ESB Portlaoise, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. His remains will arrive at St.Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Thursday for Requiem mass at 12 o'c. Alice Buckley - Ballybrittas

Buckley Alice (Patricia) (nee Walsh) died on December 6, 2023. Coolock, Dublin and formerly of Ballybrittas. Died peacefully in Beaumont Hospital with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Thomas. Alice will be very sadly missed by her sons Brendan and Gerard, daughter Niamh and step daughter Anne, her sister, brother, sister-in-law, niece, grandniece, grandchildren, relatives of her late husband, her extended family, friends and neighboursher sister, brother, sister-in-law, niece, grandniece, grandchildren, relatives of her late husband, her extended family, friends and neighbours.  May she rest in Peace

Frank Beere -Portlaoise

Of Hammerstone, Straffan and late of Celbridge and Ardclough, Co Kildare and Portlaoise. Died on December 9, 2023, peacefully at Marymount Nursing Home, Westmanstown, following a long illness bravely borne, deeply regretted by his loving wife Vera, son Alan, daughter Tracey, daughter-in-law Naomi, son-in-law Cathal, grandchildren Hana, Ava, Kaleigh and Ollie, brothers George, Tom, Seamus and Maurice, sisters Beryl and Dolores, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his residence on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am to arrive at St Brigid's Church, Straffan, for 11am funeral Mass, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery.

Philip Maher

Of Fortbarrington, Athy, Kildare / Laois. Son of the late Joseph (Lowry). Died on December 11. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Simone, children Erín, Sophie and Aidan, mother Teresa, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace

Thomas Molevicius - Portarlington

The death took place on November 22 of Tomas Molevicius, Clondalkin, Dublin / Portarlington, Laois and Lithuania.

Tragically following a traffic accident.

Beloved son of Valdas and Aleksandra, much loved partner to Aukse and devoted father to Gabija, loving brother to Rolandas. Tomas will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his family, work colleagues in Panda Waste and many friends in Ireland and Lithuania.
