Robert Sheehan's famous good looks were there for all to see at an early age in Laois as this picture from 2004 shows so well

The Portlaoise native was the guest of Mary McDermott when she celebrated her Debs in September of that year after completing her Leaving Cert earlier that year in the Mountrath School.

Teenage heartthrob Robert was a student of Ballyfin College at the time. It has since been converted into a luxury five-star hotel for superstars like George Clooney.

The Brigidine Convent and Ballyfin College later merged and moved to a new home which is now called Mountrath Community School.

Sheehan has gone onto have a successful career in acting on TV, movies and theatre. His latest film is Red Sonja an American sword and sorcery film.

His biggest TV roles have been in Love Hate and the Umbrella Academy and Misfits.
