Volunteers carrying out the work in Derryounce.
Essential maintenance work has been carried out at the popular Derryounce Lakes and Trails by volunteers and members of the Portarlington Angling club. The work was carried out to make the walking trails safe following the recent storms.
The Derryounce site is renowned for its beautiful scenery, lakes, roads, wildlife, walkways, paths and forested trails.
Derryounce Experience took to social media to express their gratitude to those who carried out the work.
"Thank you to our Derryounce Volunteers and members of Portarlington Angling club who carried out some essential maintenance on the walking trails to make them safe following recent storms. Some sticks were left for walkers also," they said.
