Eleanor Shanley and Mike Hanrahan set for Portarlington
Renowned folk duo Eleanor Shanley and Mike Hanrahan are set to perform an intimate night of music and song in Portarlington.
Eleanor Shanley, known best for her stellar entertainment career with Irish Folk group De Dannan, has a wonderful and rich body of work through collaborations and solo albums, mixing folk and traditional Irish genres through her unique interpretation.
Mike Hanrahan began his professional career in the late 70s, going on to become Stockton's Wing's guitarist in the 80s to touring with Finbar Furey before starting his illustrious solo career.
Throughout his many years of recording, John has also received his Post Grad on Equity in Brain Health at Trinity College, and has even written a series of short stories focusing on the understanding of Dementia.
Shanley and Hanrahan have collaborated many times over the years but they are now back on the road together performing An Evening with Eleanor Shanley and Mike Hanrahan with performances in Portarlington, Dublin and Tipperary.
